The Magic Closet is a state-of-the-art recording facility located in the
historic Meek family house in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland, OR. The
studio was designed for a variety of recording applications, including (but not
limited to) live band tracking and overdubs, radio voiceovers, audio
restoration, mixing and editing. Using top-quality microphones, preamps, analog
gear and computers, the Magic Closet is able to provide high-end sound at an
affordable price.
The engineers at The Magic Closet are experienced musicians who understand the
creative process. The studio was built to be esthetically pleasing and conducive
to creativity. We can also import and export sessions for those who like to
track at home or other locations.
